Main avenue of São Paulo, the Paulista is a good summary of the whirlwind of different cultures that form the city. Walking aimlessly is already enough to enter the climate of one of the largest cities in the world. It is worth to rent a shared bike to go through the new cycle path that cuts Paulista from end to end. The avenue is always busy, even late at night. And at each moment it is taken by a different audience, so, do not miss the opportunity to always take a walk there.

MASP – Museum of Art of São Paulo

MASP

MASP has the most important and comprehensive collection of Western art in Latin America and throughout the Southern Hemisphere, in which the consistent sets of Italian and French schools are particularly notable. It also has an extensive section of Brazilian art and small sets of African and Asian art, decorative arts, archaeological pieces, etc., totaling approximately 8 thousand pieces. The collection is listed by the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN). The museum also houses one of the largest art libraries in the country.

Santander Lighthouse

Farol Santander

Inspired by the Empire State Building, the building is one of the highest in the country, postcard of the city, with lookout at the top.

Ibirapuera Park

The Ibirapuera Park is an urban park in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. In 2017, it was the most visited park in Latin America, with approximately 14 million visits, besides being one of the most photographed places in the world.

Pinacoteca

The São Paulo Pinacoteca is a museum of visual arts with an emphasis on Brazilian production from the nineteenth century to the present day. Founded in 1905 by the Government of the State of São Paulo, it is the oldest art museum in the city. It was installed in the old building of the Liceu de Artes e Ofícios, designed at the end of the 19th century by the architect Ramos de Azevedo’s office, which later underwent an extensive renovation with a project by the architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha in the late 1990s. the original collection of the Pinacoteca was formed with the transfer of 20 works of the Paulista Museum of the University of São Paulo of important artists of the city such as Almeida Júnior, Pedro Alexandrino, Antônio Parreiras and Oscar Pereira da Silva. Over the years it has formed a significant collection, with almost 10 thousand works.
