MIA 2019 Congress will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, from November 14th to 16th, 2019.

The program offers practical didactic presentations along with demonstrations of the relevant anatomy in fresh cadaver. Educational Sessions

  • Practical Courses are workshop sessions, usually running for a half-day. Participants work hand-in-hand with an expert. Attendees will practice injection techniques in patients. Enrollment for workshops is limited by the number of participants.
  • Master in Focus arepanel discussions” sessions, use the leader-panel format, with a single leader acting as the coordinator for a panel. Participants will be able to evaluate the benefits and risks of performing procedures commonly used in cosmetic dermatology according to the patient’s needs, recognize the risks of each procedure and methods to reduce and treat complications.
  • Seminars are lecture-style educational sessions with live demonstrations. The anatomy related to the injection will be emphasized and the approaches to patient assessment, treatment planning, prevention of adverse events and product selection will be discussed.

MASTER IN FOCUS

Master in Focus will address specific topics that will be widely discussed and updated by the speakers, with a brief theoretical introduction followed by applications in patients. The audience will have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions about facial and body assessment, basic and advanced techniques, always with the main focus of the Master Injector Academy: to obtaining better results safely. In addition to the speaker, the moderator will stimulate discussion with the audience and will play an important role in the interactivity of the session and in the exchange of experience.

This course is designed for colleagues who wish to broaden their knowledge in different facial filling techniques and volumizing using hyaluronic acid. Among the objectives of this course, we emphasize the facial evaluation in a systematized form that will be part of the initial presentation. Different patients with different indications and possibilities of treatment will be presented. In the second part, live treatments will be performed in patients with a focus on the differences between age, gender and ethnicity. In addition to live applications, we will also present different cases already treated and their evolution for critical analysis of results.
MF 2 POLY-L-LACTIC ACID

The objective of this course is the in-depth learning about different techniques, indications and applicability of the use of poly-L-lactic acid in facials and body treatments. This course aims to broaden your knowledge in fills and biostimulation to an approach that goes beyond HA treatment. The course aims to provide the student safety in the indication and performance of treatments with poly-L-lactic acid in order to always obtain the best results for patients. In the second part, treatments will be performed in patients with a focus on different indications. The objective of this course is the presentation of botulinum toxin application techniques for different indications, addressing risks, conduct and prevention in complications. The topics will be: global rejuvenation of the face and neck, asymmetries of the face, bruxism, scars, headache, hyperhidrosis and benefits in dermatological diseases. In addition to live applications, will be presented different cases treated and their evolution for the short and medium-term results.
MF 4 CALCIUM HYDROXYAPATITE

This course will take a comprehensive approach to face and body treatments with calcium hydroxyapatite, targeting facial fill treatments as well as facial and body biostimulation. This technique brought much expectation in the facial and body approach, being a new alternative for the treatment of these areas. It will be presented by speakers, who will present different indications, individualization of patients and association, if necessary, to other techniques such as filling and biostimulation. Live treatments will be performed on different patients, with different indications. In addition to the live applications, different cases already treated and their evolution will be presented for critical analysis of results.

Anatomy from A to Z for Injectables
Lecturers: André Braz (Rio de Janeiro/RJ) and Eliandre Palermo (São Paulo/SP)

Dermatologists Andre Braz and Eliandre Palermo, two of the greatest highlights in anatomy training and teaching focused on injectable procedures, met to carry out this unprecedented project in Brazil.
The course aims to review the most important aspects of facial anatomy, aging anatomy and risk areas, as well as highlighting the main points and application plans for fillers, botulinum toxin and biostimulators treatments.
In a dynamic and interactive way, there will be classes and presentations based on images and videos of fresh corpse, in clinical correlation with the various face treatments.
The course will take place on November 14, alongside the MIA, and is open to interested dermatologists and plastic surgeons.
To participate, it is NOT obligatory to be enrolled in MIA 2019

Refund Policy

Upon written request, justifying the absence, forwarded to the executive secretary within the established period: up to 100 days prior to the start of the event, there will be 50% of return of the total amount paid. After this date there will be no return.
